Who elected this guy and why isn't the main stream media going crazy with this?

You've probably already seen the exchange between Congressman Hank Thompson and Admiral Robert Willard and you've probably also heard the congressman's explanation that he was just using a metaphor. Seriously? Watch his hands when he talks about the island tipping over. Does anyone believe this is anything other than what it appears to be? How many times did we have the main stream media telling us how stupid GWB was? But this guy, you can barely find any primary news sites carrying anything on this story.
